It takes average two-year fixed mortgage rates back towards the levels seen in the chaos after the mini-budget last autumn ( when they hit 14-year highs). Such a better lunch and Hubby and I could relax, talk and enjoy our special time in Lisbon. We had a delightful lunch (took some time) and even with my two glasses of wine, the bill was little under 20 euros. Keep in mind that the day before we had visited the marvelous Monastery of Sao Vicente de Fora and had walked down through the Alfama and found a little restaurant where Portuguese was the language we heard with only one waiter that spoke English. Long lines, expensive food, hard to find seating and trying to carry on a conversation was next to impossible. Every thing I disliked in 2014 we found had just even worse. I don't feel like paying 10€ - 13€ for a dish (and that's without drinks), without any service above what I would get in a fast food place (food served in trays that I have to go get myself), is a reasonable price in Lisbon, where I can pay that for an amazing main in a restaurant sitting down and enjoying a meal and conversation with family and friends (and without people hovering over me to get my seat). I feel like I'm on an overpriced food court in a shopping mall (at least at Colombo the chairs are more comfortable) It's not a place to go with friends where you can maintain a confortable conversation it's very crowded and it's not easy to find a table AND it's very, very noisy. I'm not so radical as the first poster but I'm also not a fan of the Time Out Market mainly because:
